About the Position
The Reception Desk Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing reception desk operations and directly supervising the team serving residents, visitors, guests, and team members.
The pay for this role is $28.00/hr
Job Duties
• Oversees reception desk operations, ensuring the needs of residents, visitors and team members are met in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Trains reception desk team and other appropriate staff in reception desk procedures that support residents, family members, visitors, and team members. responsibilities.
• Manages visitor sign-in procedures.
• Assists with monitoring fixed security camera views.
• Responds to monitored entry point requests for access to the building and parking garage.
• Handles requests related to resident keyless locking system which includes directly assisting or arranging assistance for residents, low battery replacement and maintaining hard key in case of emergency.
• Manages parking registration processes for residents, team members, guests, and visitors. This includes monitoring and updating the parking registration forms and tracker; issuing valid parking decals and hangtags, and communicating updates as needed.
• Oversees parking enforcement. Responds to parking complaints and collaborates with the Director of Facilities Management on issues related to team member and resident parking. Partners with Human Resources when disciplinary action is needed.
• Oversees electronic card system, including the assignment and maintenance of entry cards and parking stickers.
• Monitors fire emergency notification system and communicates with appropriate staff when necessary, including completion of necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
• Must be a high school graduate.
• Minimum of two years’ experience required in public relations, customer service, or related area.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Power Point.
• Must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills and possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and procedures related to security surveillance and monitoring.
• Experience working with the older adult population is a plus.
